Some colour this time from a series I dubbed "Paris on the Yarra", a fitting nickname for Australia's (in my opinion) most eclectic and vibrant city. It also happens to be one of my favourite places on earth.

Hi folks, great thread! And great pics as well. Do you guys use the art-filters? I like the high-contrast B&W. But sometimes the results can be a bit crunchy... Well i like this one, it is a JPG out of camera.

Thanks, for the comments. Yeah, I had a great time shooting that guy. I was only a few feet away from him when he noticed me, growled at me, and jumped up on the ropes and struck that pose.
I just sold my GRDII in anticipation of buying the new Fuji X100. Now, after looking at the wonderful shots on this thread, I am starting to have second thoughts....:bang:
Maybe it is time for a GRDIII?

It's rare for me to comment on a landscape picture but I really dig this one. I love the high contrast that really works well with this image, awesome!

Hi, thanks a lot. I looked at your work, very cool stuff! I like you portrait style. Especially the series from B.o.B Gunnar and the portrait from Usher. Very good!

Thank you Daniel. The portrait of Usher wasn't exactly a portrait. He was aware if me taking a picture, but it's a candid moment he had while on a break from shooting, and one of my favorite pictures.

Well I have to add my kudos to this little gem of a camera. I would like to extend a thanks to the guy I met at the Kitamura Sihinjuku used camera store, who introduced me to the camera. I had my reservations, but when I came across the GRD1 at another store for an unbeatable price I took. I am so happy I did. It is quite the little package.
