I'm not sure exactly how I processed them. I usually process my color images in Lightroom and export them as JPEGs. Sometimes I'll ad some curves in Photoshop. Usually, I'll warm up the white balance a little and then shift the color a little towards magenta. And I'll usually fill in the shadows some and also change the color cast of the shadows to the magenta so it sort of has a film look. I shoot (usually) at ISO 400 with the GRD3 as it holds up well to processing. I add a little grain and a slight vignette and that's about it... I'll try and remember to document my workflow next time I process some color images.
 
A few images from the Mutemath show in Columbia, SC last Friday night. The show as amazing and is quite possibly the best live performance I've seen. I mean, the drummer literally wrapped his headwith gaffers tape to keep his monitors from coming off.

The GRD has proven to be a great little camera for shows. All these were shot at 1600 ISO. I think the noise is kind of fitting for the atmosphere...

And a black and white one. This is actually pretty much straight out of the camera. This is the guitarist and he was doing some super funky stuff with his distortion kit during an impromptu jam session 'encore' performance. So amazing...

I bought a CV28 finder for mine but to be honest I find it better to use it without for most street shooting.
Always on snap mode too.

I have a GV1 I wish it worked better as it is off and if im not careful will make me crop my images.

I am just wondering whether the moderators could modify the name of this thread to include GRD-IV ... (not that I would have one, but others maybe do ... )
 
My Mother.

I always end up taking images my mom doesn’t like, and those images always end up being photos of her doing everyday things. Photos I find interesting. I think she wants me to sit her down break out with a portrait studio and take decent photos of her. Either way I still love these photos of her.

Yes in the photo her hair isn’t perfect, the day is worn on her. But for this moment I saw her doing what she always did for us when I was a kid, preparing my dinner. Now not only for me but my daughter and my wife. She still loves doing this even though she has had so many life changing ailments in the last two years. I find that amazing and Im grateful for her.

So here I am watching her pick the old leaves carefully off the head of lettuce as im reflecting on my mom and my past then BAM! Lettuce smashed on the table. she scared the crap out of me, and thats all I could think about after that.
 
js, i try not to think much about IQ because i am seeing this pics on just my own laptop screen. i wouldn't know if the IQ is better, worse or in-between. but i know some of the guys pretty well from their photo posts. what they show from their grds seems fresher, maybe more spontaneous. i think i could say the same of x100 posts, too ... 🙂
