I have a GV1 I wish it worked better as it is off and if im not careful will make me crop my images.

but i know some of the guys pretty well from their photo posts. what they show from their grds seems fresher, maybe more spontaneous. i think i could say the same of x100 posts, too ...![]()
I think I misunderstood you then and it sounds like we agree that the ergonomics and thoughtfulness put into these products allows you to photograph comfortably.

BHPhoto has them on pre-order for $600. May be a slightly lower than that after official release though I'm not sure if the street price for the Ricoh GRDs is ever significantly less than the MSRP.

my GRD IV hasn't seen much in the way of good light yet, but I'm not displeased with its low-light abilities. All but the first here (which was just playing with the bleach bypass JPG) were in terrible bar light - 3200, f/1.9 @ less than 1/60 I believe
