GRD is an amazing device, forget how nimble it can be.
Mine just arrived, past hour.

Got one shot in during lunch, forget how powerful macro is, ISO 90 or something at f1.9..

Yes, Paul, get on aboard. It's an amazing little tool, you just want to carry it everywhere, and (for me at least) everything about shooting it seems a form of play. It's the only camera I have that routinely makes me happy, like having an exceptionally playful, curious and smart child.
((Can you tell I just got a (very little) puppy? Seriously, the feeling is not dissimilar. And what's even funnier is that the puppy--a rescued terrier mix--cost exactly the same as my GRDIII. And both are priceless acquisitions, though that is not entirely appropriate when applied to a fellow being who happens to now be in my care.)
If you get one, you know you'll have a wonderful support group here!

GRD, I mean. I can't speak for the others if you get a puppy. They may be cat people, or ferret people, or Siamese fighting fish people....

Got my GRD (1st version) about a week ago. Been slipping it in my pocket at work (tropical nursery) and just about everywhere else including a show I played with the band recently. Here are some of the first pics I've taken thus far. I'm really enjoying the black and white jpegs, but the color isn't half bad either, I'm finding. Cheers!

Amazed at the sharpness from this lens when completely wide open. Makes for a lot of great possibilities.

Time to contribute some more.
This camera is so versatile, it's not even funny.
I have saved High Contrast B&W as MY1, and I've been using it more times than I expected:

Indeed Paul.
Just between us in this thread, I find the photos here more stimulating and interesting (creativity-wise) than the other similar thread dedicated to the usage of a camera 30x the price I paid for my GRD IV.

At two museums:
"The Curators"
"The Artist" - I met this lady again later on, explaining in great length what a particular sculpture is about to her daughter, unfortunately for me, in Spanish.
Something about the (a)symmetry caught my eyes.

Love the clouds between the brutal angular blacks, Dominique. How did you expose/process?
I normally shoot in program with spot metering at 64 iso. I then convert the color jpg into black and white using photoshop.
I thank you Robert!!!!
