GRD I
Having just ordered a GRD I, seeing images like this make me more and more happy that I pulled the trigger on the classic GRD. I only hope I can utilize its strengths as well as you have.
Killer image!

I've been keeping my eye out for a GRD I and no luck. The bay is scarce with them.

I hope so. I bought a IV because I got impatient. I'm still looking for what seems to be more desirable as far as BW grain goes, the original GRD.
The bay has some new IVs, a I and II. That's it. Why are these so scarce?!

I just saw a scratch in my GRD III lens...
You have to be in the sunlight to see it but it is there...
A little sad about this, but I use this camera enough I suppose it was bound to happen at some point..

This is a great day. The camera gods have shone down upon you with grace and love and opened the doorway to the GRD IV.
This could also be a terrible day, and for that, I am sorry. A moment of silence (or glee) for your (mis)fortune.
I can't tell if the glass is half empty or half full. Can you tell?

Those last two images are absolutely stunning. I would enjoy seeing those as prints. Very well done, my friend!

thank you for the kind words, matthew!
i might see the options of having them printed. i am hoping the megapixel amount allows me to go towards my expectations.

I agree with Matthew. I have a question about the second image: were you conscious of the RICOH sign when you photographed it?

haha, nice you noticed. i had actually seen the sign when i was out there, but when i took the picture, didn't realize at all that i captured it until i ran it through photoshop

Great images raphaelaaron. I've been experimenting with my old GRD1 in color instead of using it primarily as a black and white camera. It's fine both ways, but the color is definitely more limited by higher sensitivies than black and white is.

Stunning images!
Did you do the multiple exposure using the camera or software?

Got my IV today...unfortunately, the sensor is flawed. There is a vertical line about 1/3 from the right in every frame. Ugh.

thanks Andy! great colors in your photo indeed. I still have yet to experiment with BW, but i'll trust your word it should be adequate for such.

thanks! it was using the multiple exposure shooting method. i did try a go with software, but the images didn't turn out the way i had wanted.

Is there a multiexposure mode or did you overlap those during post processing?
