The multiple exposure setting is fairly easy to do in the menu and you can set it up with a function key. Those are very good examples of it.

Is there a multiexposure mode or did you overlap those during post processing?
all in camera, there's a multiple exposure mode.

First shots with my new (to me) GRD Original. These are in-camera JPEGs with some slight levels adjustment.

Thanks Paul ...yes my reaction to using the 28 fl has been to get close ... too close at times.
Its not really ideal for what I`m using it for here ...distortion and ...well too close for safety at times.
Good for city shooting though.

Oh dear, I think I looked at this thread too much. As if by magic I now have an original GRD, boxed with all the little bits and pieces, including leather case, and only about 300 shutter actuations. Probably the most fun I've had recently for £100! What a great tool, all the buttons in the right place, even for monster hands like mine.
Firmware is 2.10. I note the last is 2.40. Worth upgrading for the improvements?
These things have a way of doing this. I sold my GRDIII two weeks ago and ordered a Leica Dlux6. Now the Dlux-6 is on it's way back and a GRDiV will be here tomorrow....

That bleach bypass filter is just GRD IV huh? No firmware update for the GRD III?
Looks much better than the bleach bypass filter in Lightroom.

I need to experiment with a bit of daylight grain. It's something I would normally run away from when using a digital compact.

I have a d-lux 5 and really appreciate its abilities but have always been curious about the GRD series given what I've seen. I'm not a brand snob but do appreciate what I have gotten from Leica, consistency wise. I am however still curious
PS - I just bought a used GRD III on the bay to find out for myself…
