+1!
I have mostly ignored the effect settings this far but the Positive Film looks ideal to me!

I have some feedback:
I really like the PDF you put together. I think it gives a nice home for the images and helps encourage consideration of all of the images together.
My question is about the exposure. Are you dialing in EV compensation with the rocker as you are shooting, or are you reworking them in post. The raw files have a fair amount of flexibility and I have not decided if its worth doing adjustments in camera or just smashing the raw files around in post.

I really like the general look of these photos.
One of the issues I have with my GRDIII is that, as Helen mentions above, there are almost too many ways of doing things. I sorta want a pre-set "look" that I know I'm going to get.
This really appeals to my film mentality. Pick a film and know what you're getting rather than having all the magic happen in post.
Nice work.

The majority of the photos in the pdf are jpegs straight out of the camera - once i settled on the positive film effect setting, i left it as is. i was shooting manual exposure with snap focus. Works for me!

Wonderful tonality.
Nice work.
You guys are making the GR look really sweet though I know it's the archer not the arrow.

Great stuff kuvvy, especially like the first one - has a film noir type feel.
I've had the GR on Positive Film setting for the last couple of days and have to say I like the results. SOOC Jpeg:
