So, Dirk... what do you ride?
This Canadian steel, a '98 Blizzard steel frame with Synchros parts (the real, Canadian old ones), a Risse Racing fork and a mix of vintage Shimano XTR stuff with Mavic rims, DT Swiss spokes, a swiss made Hügi rear, … sadly my beloved CNC milled 175mm Race Face Turbine cranks broke in half during a jump a few years ago - loved these cranks:

Nice to hear that the UC Hex performs so nicely on the Monochrome. I have one. It's beautiful, tiny and light weight. I like the ergonomics.

Nice ! I had a triathlon bike with custom parts and that guy who built it with a DK Principia 650 frame, used Syncros parts back in, I don't remember (possibly the early nineties), when no one else had a clue.

I have one also but not the Monochrom. However, everytime I see such nice photos from it, my interest in buying a Monochrom goes up a notch.

I read the title and had imagery in my mind of scantily clad chicks hanging off the back of fire-breathing hogs - deafening exhaust pipes setting off all surrounding car alarms while their biker men balanced one hand on the monkey bars and the other on an opened bottle of vodka, giving the middle finger to any cop in their way.
Then I looked.. oh I get it.. bicycles and iPhones.
Same here. Nobody I no in the US uses biker to describe bicycle riding. The Harley owners would laugh at you....

Oh it absolutely does! It is my favourite 35mm of them all!Nice to hear that the UC Hex performs so nicely on the Monochrome. I have one. It's beautiful, tiny and light weight. I like the ergonomics.
I like the build much better then any Leitz 35mm too.
Nice! I was not into road and triathlon bikes back then, but Synchros made some really nice parts for these bikes as well (loved their welded chromo crankset, just a piece of beauty and unobtainable back then for me). This Canadian steel, a '98 Blizzard steel frame with Synchros parts (the real, Canadian old ones), .../quote]

Thanks Tom - the real beauty about the Mono is, that it performs great in low light and really opens up possibilities.I have one also but not the Monochrom. However, everytime I see such nice photos from it, my interest in buying a Monochrom goes up a notch.

Shooting these with pushed TriX would have cost me 1 or 2 stops of shutter speed.
Sorry guys I don't get it. I can't believe that motorcyclists are such tight as you make them look like - cyclists certainly are notSame here. Nobody I no in the US uses biker to describe bicycle riding. The Harley owners would laugh at you....

The title does lead one to think of motorcycles, wanna be rough looking characters and the general drinking/smoking/drugs and I hate society vibe
Nothing said about calling groups cyclists or bicyclists or bikers or any other term
That said, some nice pictures there! I like the series on your bike the most though
