First photos with FE2, E Series 35mm/f2.5

I think that my FE2 also needs new seals. I should learn how todo such tasks. If you can find a cheap Nikkor 55mm/3.5, buy this lens. It is one of the sharpest lenses ever made by Nikon.

Raid, is the 55/3.5 macro lens you are refering to?

I've been using the 35mm 2.5 E on my FM2 for a while now. I am very pleased with the lens. I also have the 75-150 f3.5 E it is also a great lens the constant 3.5 apeture really makes for a nice light weight fast zoom.
Any how heres one from the 35mm 2.5 E.

The series "E" lenses were not built to the same rugged standard as Nikkors, as plastic was substituted for metal in their construction to reduce weight and cost. This allowed them to less expensive and so more attractive to casual photographers than the more robust Nikkors.
However, the optics were very good, so getting good photos from them should really come as no surprise. The Series "E" 75~150 3.8 zoom is an outstanding lens and was used by many pros in its time.
Paul, your shots with the 35 are nice, but the fourth and eighth shots are over-exposed.
