RIP Fujifilm Pro 400H

Here in Canada I ordered 5x5 pack of 120 from both London Drugs (Vancouver) and The Camera Store (Calgary) after the announcement.
Both orders are on back-order but they are confident that their next shipment will arrive in April-May.
I have 15 rolls left in the freezer; saving them for when I next travel to a tropical locale.

Update from one of my suppliers - Fujifilm has pushed back delivery to late June.

I bought some 20 rolls I managed to find locally - 10€ per roll of 120, not cheap, but considering it’s discontinued...

Was it really "all that"?
From images I've looked at, the NC 160 seems to have been a more interesting emulsion that the 400H. The latter often has a desaturated look and appeals to a particular aesthetic that I have mixed feelings about. Of course, still didn't stop me from picking up a few rolls of 135 because....extinction is bad.

And now, 2 years later, the status is this:
Black and white, 1, Acros 100 II, 135 / 120 only.
Color neg, Fujicolor 100, FujiColor Superia 400, 135 only, Japan only
Color neg, Fujifilm 200 and 400, 135 only, World wide

Reversal, Velvia 50, 135 / 120 only
Reversal, Velvia 100, 135 / 120 / 4x5 (8x10 japan only)
Reversal, Provia 100, 135 / 120 / 4x5 / 8x10

So, no large format black and white film, only a single ISO 100 offering.
Nothing larger than 135mm for color negs, 2 offerings, and no ISO 100 if you live outside Japan.
3 options for slides, 2 if you shoot large format, 1 if you shoot 8x10 and live outside Japan.

People may try to defend Fuji all they want, but the truth has been out there for a while and that is called Instax.
