Wonderful photographs, thanks for posting. In the Vimeo he says the photos were already out there, he just took the picture, but clearly he has a great eye and talent for being in the right place. And agreed, the visual quality of the film has a look and feel you don't see any more.

You are right; it is Inge Morath.
She had come to Edinburgh to cover Prince Philip's visit to the University in February 1958.

I take it you are a relation of Robert Blomfield - if so, many thanks for posting!

Thanks for the wonderful pictures. I don't like the video: interviewing a man at his tearful weakest. It doesn't connect with his vibrant photography.
