Cool, they have been skiing with HCB and Henri had a rolleiflex with him🙂

I think Willy Ronis was the photographer skiing with Capa with the Rolleiflex. There were some very big names interviewed. I was suprised to see HCB involved - I thought he avoided the lens-end of any camera if he could help it?

There was a particular section of the film I found very interesting. A lady (I didn't catch her name) was talking about Capa, Chim, and HCB with regard to their picture taking style. I didn't realise just how strongly individual their styles were whilst maintaining a common 'Magnum' ground.

And you have to say...what a life! To be a Magnum photographer in the mid 20th century! What I wouldn't give!

Mango - if you're still in Belfast, give me aring (0 777 9 254 008) and I'll buy you a coffee in Bookfinders Cafe on University Road (virtually opposite Queen's University).

Cheers,

Sean.
