Wanted to share some of my first test shots with my Rokkor 90mm on my M8.2 shot a few min ago with a tripod.

better than I expected. Hand held in low light is a little harder though.

I'd like to get a fast Tele now... just please don't tell my wife. ;)

That is my cat sleeping on my sofa.

The 90mm M Rokkor is stunningly cute, apart from being a fine performer. Slow, of course, for indoors work.

I have a 90 Rokkor for my CL kit and it is a great lens and all I want or need in such a long lens. You can't go wrong with it. As for the max of f/4, not such an issue as I tend to close down my lenses to about f/8 anyway. At f/4 it is still excellent; I find no compromises though in objective tests there are the usual losses.

Should not be any problem on the M3. The cam cut on the Rokkor is closer to the cut of the cams on the CL Leica lenses. Though Leica issued a caution, testing decades ago called into question the caution and suggested Leica did it to scare away persons who would pay less for these lenses than the standard issue Leica and it would cost Leica sales.
