I'll add to the accolades of the 3.5E Xenotar. I simply LOVE mine. It's an awesome camera. I use it all of the time. From the images that I've seen, and what I've read, there's very little difference in image quality between the Planar and the Xenotar.
The Kool Aid was great and now I'm a believer. Not letting go of my trusty old Automat MX-EVS anytime soon, but looking forward to trying a 3.5 Planar or Xenotar. Came across photos from a 3.5 six-element lens and was blown away. Never tried the five-element 3.5; the 2.8F I tried was pretty hefty to haul around.
