Every time I visit this thread, I realize how capable scale focus cameras (and especially the Rollei 35) can be in the right hands and I get the itch to shoot one again. Fantastic work, Zeno, you just keep getting better.

The frame really jumped out of the scene. It was barely enough light to get the scene unshaken.
I especially like the "sensible" way of locking up the door (Sir Simon de Canterville or The Cask of Amontillado came to my mind).

I’d be tempted to get 5-10 yards of that material and photograph everything through it for a while. Maybe I’ll see what’s available at my hardware warehouse when I get over this awful flu and bronchitis....
