The frame really jumped out of the scene. It was barely enough light to get the scene unshaken.
I especially like the "sensible" way of locking up the door (Sir Simon de Canterville or The Cask of Amontillado came to my mind).

I’d be tempted to get 5-10 yards of that material and photograph everything through it for a while. Maybe I’ll see what’s available at my hardware warehouse when I get over this awful flu and bronchitis....
