Rollei 35

Hey guys I have an Rollei 35 black with the Tessar lens I think it is. Its winder doesn't move and after testing and reading alot I've found that the internal gear is plastic and it needs to be changed.

I think I should be able to do the repair myself but I can't find the part any where, do any one have it and willing to give or sell me it?

If you can find one, I'd just get it instead of hoping you can find someone with the part laying around that you might could nab cheap. Rollei 35's are long out of production and no doubt the remaining spare parts are becoming short supply, especially for common problems such as this.

Umm, how do you know that the plastic gear is actually the problem ... have you taken it apart already?

Try extending and locking the lens, then firing the shutter. It might be cocked.

Because after trying to advance the film the lever itself won't turn. However I was able to turn the spoil which lead me to find the repair manual and I saw that it's connected to that.

And the fact that it's a common issue with rollei

Ah yeah I know how a rollei is supposed to work so it's not an error on my part just the gear itself. As it's a common issue
