Well-known
I recently picked up a Rollei EC 6x7 color enlarger for nearly nothing ($20). No manual was provided or is available online but from various things I've read online, it was made by LPL or Saunders (the head indicates it was made in Japan). It's much lighter than my Beseler 23C color head enlarger but it seems decently built and useable, especially since I've cleaned and aligned it.
Question: the color filter dials are on the right side of the head and there is also a white knob that can be pulled away from or towards the head (some type of sliding mechanism?). What does this sliding mechanism do?
Thanks.

This may be a switch that allows white light to bypass the filters and makes it easier to focus.
