Pity indeed, bank transfers are around 35 dollars from the US to germany. And thanks to a falling-out between the US and German post office, Germany does not accept US international money orders. International Bank Drafts are a little cheaper, but slow, since it's got to be mailed to you, then you have to mail it to the seller.. if they are even willing to do that..

Last time I bought some stuff from germany I just sent cash in a global priority fixed rate envelope, worked fine.

The last round ended with 2 of 10 lenses sold for 249 Euro...

If I still would have my R3A I probably would be tempted. But with my Bessa-L I would need the extra finder worth about the same as the original lens with the Rollei 35S on the back.
