Hello everyone,
I need to get a CLA for my Rollei 2.8C. While I’m aware of well-known services like Harry Fleenor, his rates might be on the higher side. I believe KEH also offers CLA services.
I’d appreciate any advice from forum members. Specifically, who have you used recently, and what was your experience? Any information on pricing and turnaround time would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks in advance.

I can't offer any advice on Rollei service, since I've not had the occasion to have any done. However, some general principles apply; a good, reputable, established shop should have no trouble doing a CLA on most cameras. And a Rollei is not an overly complicated design, in addition to having been around a long time. You should be able to have the work done more quickly and less expensively if you forego the "superstars" who have made a name for themselves repairing specific high-end brands.
Eric at DW Photo/Rolleiflex USA is the go-to expert on all things Rollei (and a great guy). He recommends, in addition to Harry Fleenor, Pro Photo DC in Washington, DC. I'd check them out first:

Consider also Jimmy Koh. I have bought a used Rollei, CLA'd by Jimmy, from Jimmy, and it's perfect.

I just wanted to post about my gratitude for Dan. Because of his thoughtful and patient advice, and excellent skills, these three rehabbed, reliable beauties will soon be in the hands of some of my advanced HS students. Thanks Dan. You're one of the ones who makes this community great. -Andrew

I’ve used Harry Fleenor to overhaul my Rolleicord Vb and repair and CLA a Rollei 35S and 35SE. Yes, he’s expensive, but he does a really thorough job and his repairs last.

Last time I had a CLA done on a Rollei it was done by Harry. That was over 10 years ago and it was on an MX-EVS Automat with a Tessar. It is still working well so I guess he knew what he was doing. I have a newly purchased 3.5F Planar that seems to work just fine so far, but if it needs anything done I'll probably give him a call. But Mark at Zeissikonrolleirepair does really good work as well so if Harry is busy I wouldn't hesitate to contact him either.
