Hi,I've successfully adjusted the rangefinder of my Rollei XF 35, using screw n°1 and n°2 for horizontal and vertical shifment (see picture).
Anyone knows what screw n°3 does? It seems to be another adjusting screw, but I have no idea about what it set!

Usually the third screw is there to correct for residual tilt (which may also take the form of vertical displacement if you attempt to correct tilt with the H/V screws). Very often, you don't need to touch it, as that fixes an error that is more a matter of factory tolerances than later drift.

Thank you very much for your indication.
Currently I have played with screw 1 and 2, pointing at different subjects far from the camera with the focus set at infinity.
The RF seems to be ok, what I have to check pratically to see if the tilt is ok or I have to adjust the screw n°3?
My adjustment was correct or I have to check something else?
This afternoon I will collect from the lab the first roll taken after the regulation, hope everything went well 🙂

Just reviving this thread because I can't find info on the leatherette - can it be reattached if removed to adjust the RF? My XF35's RF is off horizontally at infinity but I'm not sure it's worth fixing if I need to get new leatherette somehow.

Thanks in advance
Philip
