I've never seen one of these before. They look arcane however I guess they do the job. The bidding closes in about 2.5 hrs take a look while its still on ebay. I have absolutely no relation to the seller or the bidders.
I also am not bidding. But it looks like a fun thing to pull out in a crowed summer venue. Lots of looks for sure. It looks like a submarine scope. Anyone ever seen or used one?

The best camera is one that still works!
What a conversation piece ... turn up at the beach for some casual snaps of the bathers with that and you'd get marched away very quickly I suspect!
