RTF 540 - can use with G2?

I've always wondered if the RTF 540 flash can be used with the G2 body. Lot's of RTS users claim that the RTF 540 flash system was the absolute best flash Contax ever made. Has anyone tried it on the G2? (crossing my fingers)
