Canadian & Not A Dentist
*sigh*
I am not sure what else there is to say.
I've already told you via email that I can't rent, borrow, or try out an M8 in the city of Toronto from a dealer - you know this.
I've mulled over the M8 over the past 2-3 months and while there are people who think that the camera can do wonders and make files that rival every other digital camera ever made, the moment I was considering buying one I got PM after PM and emails with offers from people wanting to give theirs up because the M8 "just wasn't for them" - you'd think that if a camera was that good that people would hang onto it - I know I hang onto my 5D's.. and my M7 and M2... only way they'd go is if I was funding an upgrade but definitely not because they weren't "for me".
I'm not going to respond to this thread anymore but feel free to send me the RAW file of that image you posted here - let me look at it in Lightroom and see if I can drag back those blown highlights without having to create an "HDR" image or jumping through hoops or chanting ancient incantations whilst grinding an old 'cron into pixi dust.
Thank you,
Dave
