That is Leica M6 Sultan of Negeri Brunei Darussalam Silver jubilee GOLD Edition (1992)

[And it was Leica M6 Platinum Sultan of Brunei 50th Birthday Edition each with diamond (1995)]

All cynicism aside, I have a gold Rolleiflex Aurum. I do have to admit, a gold and lizard camera is stunningly beautiful.

So, I can be sympathetic to those lucky souls that can afford to, or are lucky enough, to own a piece of photo-jewelry like a gold-leather camera.

I rather think the black bits detract from the overall look... better with an M2/3/ MP style wind on lever & no rub inserts (of what practical use could they be anyway on a gold camera?)
& lose the battery cover & the metering system... Goldfinger plated everything..

YES you're right,so I don't buy it!!!!!!!!!!!!!!😀

there is no information about a strap at all. I thing that camera is for a collection but not for shooting - that's why no strap 😉 it's a pity 😉

Well if the sultan sold it to Arsenal he either didn't think it's worth keeping, he is acutely short of money, or he knows something we don't know.

Could there be a platinum-plated M9 with a beryllium shutter button on its way?
