Anyone know if any of the Russian camera cases fit the Contax cameras and which one?

The Kiev 2/3 is a spitting image of the Contax II/III, and the cases do fit (YMMV with the 4, which is slightly less tall, but their cases should at least work as a half case). The Contax IIa/IIIa are smaller, not case compatible to any Kiev or the Contax II/III.

Early cases for the Kiev-II/III do perfectly fit for any Contax-II/III.
later cases for the Kiev-4/4A don't fit with the Contax, due to the fact that the fixing screw is differently centered.

The case for my Kiev 4am is a fairly good fit for my Contax IIa, with just a little extra room on the sides of the slightly smaller Contax IIa.

Where they weren't discarded they probably rest in the sewing box along with other leather bits for shoe and belt repairs - the ones I received (with cameras in pretty good shape) all were in pieces or darn near close to falling apart at the seams...

While visiting a well-known shop in München, Bavaria, a couple years ago, in the used cameras dept. there was a fine ever-ready for the Contax IIa/IIIa, in a plastic box full of various cases for cameras and lenses, at 5,- Euro each: I've felt like having found the Holy Grail...
