russian M lenses

Thank you Lubitel. that is interesting. One gets the impression that even quite recently there were people at FED with the will to carry on making cameras and lenses. Had they hung on a few years more, who knows, we might have had that FSU M8... :)

Probably if USSR had another 10 - 15 years those fed and zorki plants would have brought out a digital Fed ;)
 
why does the aperture ring have f2 as the full opening when it is suppose to be a f1.8 lens?

Thank you for spotting this. I would certainly buy one if they had made them. Of course, you can mount Fed and Zorki lenses on your M. I have a Jupiter 8 on mine at the moment.
