OK so this is an odd one for RFF. I have a new-to-me RZ67, and the hotshoe won't trigger the flash at all. I've cleaned the contacts on the hotshoe, and from the lens to the body. I've heard that the lens governs the flash sync on the RZ even when using the hotshoe, and that sometimes the sync circuit needs cleaning/repair. Anyone know how I can DIY this? I'm pretty handy and have fixed my fair share of 35mm SLRs, but this whole in-the-lens shutter-and-sync bit is a brave new world for me.
