Biggest challenge is finding the parts and the screws.
Once you have the parts, the top deck has to come off, then the mount bracket for the shoe. The shoe attaches from underneath. The shoe attaches via screws to the mount bracket, then the mount bracket to the body casting, then the top deck goes back on. The stud screws on from outside.
Simple, right?

Oh, if you find the parts and buy the camera, I'll install it for you.

Maybe Pete Smith would have these parts.. would be worth a call. My question is: why, in the name of all that is holy, would someone remove these items in the first place?!

The flash shoe on these and the contax cameras were meant for the finders or the very light flash bulb holder. Some people will try and mount a on camera flash on the shoe and this can pull it right off the camera. I bet that is what happend here.
The serial numbers on the body/lens don't match the serial numbers on the guarantee card
