SA-1 flash adapter

anyone no if the SA-1 is TTL ? thinking of getting for my T ( think it fits ) but not sure if its a TTL adapter.

If I'm reading the UK based FAQ (http://www.contaxcameras.co.uk/tseries/tvsiii/tvsiiifaqs.asp) correctly, it sounds like the SA-1 is setup as an auxiliary flash. The attached flash needs it's own sensor. I have a T3 (with SA-2), and the SA-2 adapter does provide TTL with the TLA-200 (it has many more connections to the camera).

SA-1 serves the T2. The T has a dedicated, detachable flash with some electronic control (duration may be based on RF distance).

thanks plummerl, I will have a bit more of a look at things, I have seen a shot of the SA-1 and it didn't look TTL but it said it would fit the T, perhaps the SA-2 will fit as well? the T I'm buying is body only ( no flash ) and I have a TLA 30 for my G2's that I could use if I get the guff, but then its a big kit again? maybe I should hunt for the T14 flash for the T, but then its direct only which I hate anyway? ????@#$%^&*()(*#@

and rico, think you can get a bit more complex with the system if you choose but not sure what to do, I like high speed film anyway ( or pushed 400 to be honest, Delta is my fav at the moment )

I have the SA-1, it is just an optical slave to the built in flash with a middle contact.
The TVS with SA-1 and a Metz 30BCT4 looks realy weird 🙂
