A sad news, Sabine Weiss dies at 97.

She was among the well known humanistic photographers with impressive B&W work. RIP

Oh such a shame! She belonged to the generation of photographers that captured the 50s so well. There used to be a documentary on YouTube around her work, including an interview she gave some years ago. I can't find it anywhere.

Many thanks for this. I’ve always loved the work of her contemporaries such as Boubat, Doisneau and Ronis, but for some strange reason I hadn’t come across her before. What a lot I’ve missed - but at least I can catch up now.
