New York Sadly NYC Meet-Up for October

So do I, I have not shot film in months, it's just the digital
thing is so easy and the printing is great.

You lazy bums. I'm a self proclaimed slacker and I still shoot a decent amount of film. LOL.

For me I still love the analog culture, the analog look, the analog challenge, and most of all retro film cameras.

Cal

I shoot digital because it works for what I want to accomplish with my photography. Film is a step backwards for me. The cameras are nicer though.

It's just that there's no place in Westchester to get film developed anymore
without waiting about two weeks, now in the city it's still the best place to
film done which I'm glad to still see. I do agree with John about the camera's

Bob,

The best place for me to develop film is on the granite counter in my kitchen. The bathroom is my drying booth.

Also quality is high while the costs are low.

John,

Plus one. I shoot digitally for the look and convenience, but analog is pure nast-toll-JAH because I still think my film cameras are all too cool.

I know one day decades from now I'll be glad that I shot film to the very end.

I haven't shot film in years.
Consequently I'll bring my 3 film M's on Sunday ... for sale .
If fate will have it, they find a new home where they will be used.
It's sad to have them just sitting around in a case with a desiccant pouch.

It's true, I have about six film cameras just sitting in the bottom of my
closet not being used as well.

What are you selling? I still have an M4 that I rarely shoot but when I hear someone say they are selling a film M, my ears perk up.

Hi,

Yeah that was from this year, last weekend.
Huge turn out from when I went last year.
It was a lot of fun to shoot, but would have loved to get shots from in the pit.
But needed a special pass to get in.

I had been planning to go for a few months, had to cancel hotel and all.. O well, next year.. Will try to get the pass as well if it is on next year.. Great shots by the way.
