film used in this case is Ilford Pan 400 and Fuji Neopan 400, fixer used is lucky HB-19[smells like white vinegar]. Water stop and kodak washaid.

the bodged up ones are from the fuji roll. lens used was CV ultron 35/f1.7, camera a zorki 3.

How do these look compared to other developer combos? I think the Neopan has really amazing smooth grain with the HB-17

all taken at F1.7

I never see Lucky developers and Fixers. Though I regularly use Lucky New SHD 100 for cost reason. Here in Indonesia there is cheap developer namely Micro MF, which some stated have the characteristic of Kodak D-76.

i think HB-17 is actually a bit more fine grained than the D76 the lab in my area uses. and its only $4US for 1Ltr which i use at 1:25. That make it 50 rolls since i use 500ml of prepared solution.

What fixer do you use? I use the HB-19 from lucky but its 1:7 so that runs out way before the developer.

Do you reuse the fixer? I think its just an acid based one since it smells like vinegar
