Samsung AF Lens - Nikon F Mount

Hello Folks,
I just bought a bundle of lenses with a Nikon 90X. One (not working) is a Samsung 28-70mm F3.5-4.5 AF Lens. However I cannot find any information about it on the Internet. Anyone have any knowledge of it?

Are you sure it's a Samsung, and not a Samyang? Similar one in Minolta mount shown here.. http://dslrcameralenses.org/samyang-28-70mm-f3-5-4-5-md-for-minolta.html

That's weird: the lens looks exactly like that, but it's marked 'Samsung' not 'Samyang.'.

I believe that both companies are based in South Korea but Samyang seem to be mostly an optical firm whereas Samsung are best known for their electronics expertise. Is it possible that the lens was built for Samsung by Samyang and later sold under the maker's name as well?

I'll just add that I own a couple of Samyang lenses and am very pleased with them.
