Hey everyone.

It's been a couple months since we all congregated and I thought I'd propose a little B&G get together. How about the "Vesuvio Cafe" on Columbus at 1PM on the 19th (or the 18th if that works better). Those that want to get together before or after and shoot/walk/tour can pipe in their intentions as well.

Thoughts?

Kent- I'm supposedly teaching a class that weekend, but I'll need to have more than the 1 person signed up that I have so far.
If that falls through, I just may be able to make it!

Also- For another maybe gathering- Looking Glass Photo is doing a group photo show for all of us photo shop employee types. It's going to be in SF at PhotoboothSF, in the mission. The opening is this Saturday starting @ 7pm. Fun times, photos, and probably alcohol for all who show up. (photoboothsf.com)
I FINALLY finished my photos from last years port of oakland shot, and have a print from that up in the show.

Expect someone to take your picture too ( especially if you wear the leopard print again Kent. The sequins were a bit much though...), lots of folks with cameras around.

Brian,

I'll try to come by Saturday night! I have a new zebra print kilt I'll break out for the occasion.

Haven't seen you in a bit, will be fun to catch up.

A good friend will be in town from Brooklyn and my partner is graduating on the 19th. Looks as though I will not be available that weekend. Enjoy everyone!

Kent,
I'd love to double-up an RFF meet and the Looking Glass Crew show on Saturday. I figure if I down a couple of pitchers at Vesuvio's, I should be in good shape to wade through the glitterati crowd at the LG opening.

P.S.: Your post has probably not received much attention yet as most of the locals are most likely busy at the Tattoo Expo or the Hemp Convention or whatever the Cow Palace is offering up this week.

Ha Jamie! I'd be up for meeting up this Saturday for that as well! Want to hit something closer to Market Street for a drink so we can hop on Bart to get to the show?

I'll be going to the show straight from work, so I can't meet up beforehand (no time), but I'll see you guys there...

And I'm sure I'll see you. The zebra print will probably be hard to miss.
It's not glow-in-the-dark again, is it?

It only glows with a Black Light Brian.

Wish I could join you guys on the 19th. But that weekend is the Los Altos Rotary Club's annual Fine Art in the Park event. I'm on the club's board and my wife is in change of artist selection. So I think I better not miss it. See you guys next time...

Thanks Kent! Yes, that one was mine. My other piece was on the other wall, a little hard to see- a 30x40 of the cranes and container ship at night. I think they ran out of room on the main wall...

Sorry I didn't see you- the show was packed, and I'm not too surprised that I didn't see everyone. In that crowd, you probably need more than zebra print to really stand out anyway... :)

None of us had seen all the work together until last night- it was good to see how it all fit together, and to see what the rest of my co-workers are up to with their photography.
Definitely an interesting ( but good) mix!

Glad you made it out Kent!

I usually have lunch and a photo-walk in North Beach on Saturdays, but can break the habit & shift to Sunday too. Which day are you settling on?
