California (Bay Area, Northern) San Francisco HCB Exhibition & RFF Get Together Nov. 14th.

I'm going to try to make it, too! I'm coming down from Sacramento for a tango festival that runs all weekend, but hopefully I'll be able to block off a few hours for some RFF awesomeness. I've been meaning to get to SFMOMA at some point (I'm a recent Texas-to-California transplant and haven't seen all the "sights" yet), and this is as good a chance as any. Would be great to geek out over camera stuff with you all, too. :)

I think I'll be bringing my M6, collapsible 50/2, and some Tri-X. Looking forward to taking some pictures this weekend!

Anyone know what the best parking option is? I'll be running around the city much of the day so I'd rather keep my car with me than do the MUNI/BART thing.

I hope you can make it! The garage at Mission & 4th is very convenient (a couple hundred yards from the MOMA). If you're going to be in the Union Square area most of the day the Sutter Street Garage is always a nice choice.

Seeya Sunday!

Current plans are to take the 9:10 am train from Sacramento, which will put me at SFMOMA a little before noon, in time to grab some lunch and see the exhibit, w/ some shooting afterwards. Yay!!

Thanks! Is there a rally point or meetup location? Or should I just look for troublemakers saddled with ridiculously ancient cameras?

11am in front of the museum. There are some tables out there and I am sure some of the early arrivals will be there and waiting.

Looks like Bingley and I will arrive later than the rest, around noon. Looking forward to it.

I have the camera rig figured out for shooting, and some gear I will bring to show 'n sell. Hey, we could have an official Show 'n Sell sometime.

The "show & sell" is a good idea, we'll have to try that. Call my cell if you can't find us when you arrive Bob. PM me if you need the # again.

Great idea! An out of town but would love to sell my m8 and m lenses locally as I may go all hexar af for my 2011 1 camera 1 lens project ...

Hey, this sounds great. Count me in! I too am an SFMOMA member so someone can certainly be my guest for the day. Looking forward to meeting everyone.

I'll see you all tomorrow.

Edit: I'll have an extra ticket for someone without the membership.

I'll see everyone tomorrow. My wife may be joining us too.

The weather will be great! It's going to be fun. :)

Kent -- Confirming that bobkonos and I will be training it down from Sacto. We should get there around 11:45 am (taking the 9:10 from Sac). Keep a couple of seats at a table for us! See you there!

Kent - Bob is a true Luddite, and does not have a cell phone.:) I do, however, and I think I've still got the #.
