San Francisco Trip

Heading to San Francisco area next Saturday. Any suggestion for shooting spots? Will shoot on Leica M6 (carrying 35mm cron and 50mm lux). B/W film. Anything I should avoid? sunset spots?

You can't go wrong with most of downtown, chinatown and little italy.
Also, head over MOMO, Contemporary Jewish Museum (Kubrick exhibit) and the leica store while you're in town.

Most of all, enjoy yourself!

Lots of them.

Walk across the golden gate. Beautiful views of the city. Drive across the golden gate, pull off and look at the city.

Downtown, there are many places, Lombard street, Coit tower go up to the top and take photos, Fishermans wharf, ride the cable cars, the hills and valleys, to mention a few.

Go to treasure island, check to see if you can get on. I went to school there, long time ago, Navy. I had my car, a VW bug with stick. Had to use the emergency brake couple of times at a stop light!

Most Saturdays this time of year you'll be only one of hundreds of tourists most anywhere you go. Just keep aware of your surroundings and the people.
Take the 29 bus to the Golden Gate Bridge. Walk down to Fort Point, Crissy Field, Fort Mason, Aquatic Park. Take a cable car out to the top of Russian Hill, walk down to North Beach and Chinatown. That should keep you busy.

-Sutro Baths
-Marshall's beach, park at the Battery Godfrey and it's about quarter mile down to the beach, walk along the beach all the way to Fort Point Rock, my favorite spot to take picture of the Golden Gate.
-Battery Spencer
-anywhere in downtown SF (Fishermans Wharf, Lombard st, Financial District, China Town, Union Square)
-Painted Ladies in Alamo Square Park
-Twin Peaks
-Golden Gate Park
