Turns out that Santa was delayed. Today two more gifts arrived. One of them is that same book of yours, except it's in French. Santa had to go all the way to France and backthanatos said:I got this...

I agree with Michael, Petepete, congratulations!
Santa, with the help of my wife and children, brought me something shiny, soft, and brown from Italy to keep my M2 warm!

Santa this afternoon delivered a new-in-box 150mm Rodenstock Imagon cell set all the way from Germany. It interchanges with the 120mm Imagon cell set, going onto the Rodenstock focusing tube I received on Christmas Eve.

I so do want to go out there now and take portraits of him. He's not doing well at all these days. I would want to interview him at his pace about how, when, where, and why he was/is interested in Leicas and the history of each one. He has a love of photography and was a war journalist in ww2 ... that's the one with stories. Once I gather information and photojournalistic portraits I'd like to put together one of those book things you get off the internet. I have to get the stories behind them since he was the only owner of his beloved collection.Michael I. said:wonderfull story - if there is something better then a leica is a free family leica from a living family member.
