Joe I like how you got the visual engagement of the two women holding a coffee and a bundle of pussy willows. It's a very nice shot.

Yep, like the 7th very much (lady with coffee and lady with sticks). The last is a bit of fun too - she's certainly giving you the eye for taking pictures while she works...

He was a very good look man.
I'm impressed.
I took pictures of my grand father, but I lost all the negatives in the flood of Arles.
Too bad!

Great shots Joe,
I missed this topic somehow, I really like the color in the one with the paprikas.
Tomorrow there's a flea market in the next town over. I think I'll try my hand at 'Market' photography with my R-D1.

Apart from being good compositions they are brilliantly processed.
Would you care to divulge with which program/how you do it?
After moving to LR I cannot seem to get anything close to what I used to get in PhotoRAW.
Not even when exporting tiffs from PhotoRAW :bang:
However, after almost loosing track of my photographs I had to get some kind of handle on them.
cheers

Improving daily--I think.
I somehow missed this thread till now but I must say you've got a nice mix of images. My wife and I make a point of hitting Strathcona at least once every time we visit Edmonton. Of course we're usually there when the weather is much nicer and people don't dress so funny. I love the atmosphere of the place; people are very friendly for a big city location--although I must say that I've had a few of the vendors shoo me away when I try to take pictures of their wares...
