I have a Voigtlander 35mm f1.4 Nokton bought as the SC version but there is no reference to SC on the lens, just the word CLASSIC, which may or may not indicate SC. When reflections in the lens are viewed next to those in a 50mm f1.5 Nokton is seems that the magenta colour in the latter is absent in the 35mm, which suggest that it is a SC lens. Is there any information available that would resolve this?

My SC lens has an engraved 'SC' right next to 'classic' in the front of the lens. But mine is a 40/1.4. Probably it is not the case in 35mm.

You can go to this page,
http://www.cameraquest.com/voigtlen.htm
and check the image for 35/1.4. It does have a bluish SC painted in the front.

Many thanks; you are absolutely right. (I have also checked with the UK importers).
