Sounds "Nigerian" to me. Stay away!!!!
I would advise people to not respond to this Scam at all.

I would not be following up on that. It does look fishy.

Seriously? You're not sure if this is a scam?
This is the oldest email con in existence. I'm stunned that people get messages like this and still have doubts about whether it's legit or not.
The money order you will receive will be counterfeit. Your bank will then come after you for the money. Many times the scam works where the other party gives you a cashier's check for more than the amount of the transaction as an incentive for you to accept the check. You cash the check at the bank, and hand over the goods. Then your bank comes back to you for all the money once the bad check is discovered.
This scam, and others like it, are still out there because people are still dumb enough to get taken in by them.

I tried sending myself an email from RFF and the sender does not see your address, however the email's return address is user@rangefinderforum.com - i.e. not the same form I got from the scammer. so still curious how he extracted my email address from RFF
When you view a member's profile you will see two options to communicate with that person, via PM or email. You can change your settings and not accept emails through RFF. I am not sure that your actual email address is disclosed by the software, just a method to send an email.
