My Scanner/Printer is ready to be replaced. I want to know if I can find a Scanner/Printer that can scan negatives. I am limited to around $200.00, and I have some 2x3 negatives that I want to scan, and I may consider a cheap 6x6 also to fool around with.

Yes, Epson V500

Yes, Epson V500

Scans MF negs and slides (transparencies). Plan on spending some money on the Betterscanning holders. The ones in the box are not good.

Budget... can be found new for discounted $150.00, and I just picked up my second one near new on Craigslist for $100.

The Betterscanning holders with ANR glass for medium format are about $100. Film flatness is the issue with the stock holders for MF.

You're looking for a scanner/printer all-in-one machine that does negatives also? I don't think there are any. You'd be better off just getting a cheap scanner and cheap printer seperately.

That's why I asked the Q the way I did...
I do think a V500 and a cheap printer will be my end game.

Well. I will have to wait for Panasonic G3 body to arrive 1st. then I can sell P/G1 body to help fund them.

So, I am researching right now, here, and Google.

+1
OP Most scanner/printer all-in one machines are only designed to scan reflective material, document, photo prints ext. On the other hand most of today's flat bed scanners either have some kind of dedicated film slot or they allow you to remove part of lid to make scanning of transparent material, such as negatives or film possible.

Looks like Epson has some refurbished V500s for $149 including free groundshipping

FYI I have a Kodak ESP 310 printer scanner which work quite nicely for regular printing and scanning and actually produces fairly nice prints when using Kodak Ultra Premium paper.
