I'm so confused with scanning
I'm using EpsonScan and GIMP
Right now, I'm previewing, adjusting so that each color channel is not clipped, scanning as TIFF, opening the TIFF in GIMP, adjusting each color level again and inverting.
The colors look a tad cold (orange mask?)
Is this the correct order?
I just want to know what the colors of the film are supposed to be (closest to being printed on RA-4)

Epsonscan is very good at setting the endpoints, the problem is the "auto exposure" level control, which just adds an S curve that blows the highlights. You want Epsonscan to do the inversion, it's good at that too. These two items are why I use this scanner, mostly. Here is this. http://www.rangefinderforum.com/forums/showthread.php?t=94126
