Very confused
I have lots of old negatives from cameras I used to own - nearly all 35mm but also some 6x6. I could have the non-35mm scanned by someone else - there must be people out there that do this.
I have been using digital gear exclusively now for about 5 years, but I still feel I could benefit using film some of the time *if* I had the film developed and then scanned the negatives. I don't think I will ever again process film myself. I used to do B&W but never color.
Then I could print the best of my old and new negatives digitally, enhance them in photoshop etc.
What I am looking for is advice on going about this scanning business:
1) What make(s) / type(s) of scanner you'd recommend;
2) Hints and pitfalls to avoid;
3) Any other general guidance on related matters.
All ideas and suggestions gratefully received!
