FWIW, I just renovated my "Scenic Italy" page (which I had sorely neglected).
This was not a "project" per se, but actually two vacations that I was able to squeeze out some nice shots.

Montepulciano is about 80 miles south-south-east of Florence.
Like many other towns in Italy, it is a "fortified" hilltop town.
That group of photos on my web page also come from Sienna, Montalcino and Assisi.
Our home for 8 days was Montepulciano.

The nice looking photos bring back memories from our Italy trip in 2013. We stayed in Siena ten days. We visited the same places.

Very lovely photos, Dave. Even though most were shot on cloudy days, I think that just enhances the Old World look of the places.
