Schacht Travegon 35mm

Just got an LTM 39 Schacht Travegon 35mm from eBay for $20. The lens looks ok, except for what looks like tarnished coating on the front element's surface. This lens is really large for a rangefinder lens, more so for a 35mm Leica mount. It's almost as big as the M42 Mir-1B 37mm lens made for SLRs.

Anyone got experiences with this lens?

The aperture ring also got loose. It would still turn and click. But the aperture blades won't close. The blades did close when I got it, but continual turning got the ring loose. Anyone on board know how to disassemble this lens?

It's fairly soft at the widest apertures.

Closed down a few stops, it's an adequate if not steller performer, with lowish contrast.
