A few months ago, I asked for travel advice regarding a visit to Scotland. I got a lot of excellent suggestions, and I just want to share a few pictures from the trip. I used Leica M6, Summicron 35/2, Tri-X for all pictures.

First, we spent some time in Edinburgh.

Then we travelled by train to Fort William. It was a stunning train ride, with fantastic scenery. In Ft William we rented a car. It was a bit nervous to drive on the left side of the road ...

We drove up to Mallaig and took the ferry to Isle of Skye.

We spent a few days on Isle of Skye, visiting the Talisker destillery and Dunvegan castle. A magic and beautiful island.

On the way back from Isle of Skye to Edinburgh we stopped in Stirling.

Thanks for looking!

Some great photos there, especially of Skye. Excellent choice of whisky too, reminds me I've not had a bottle of Talisker in a while.

Glad you had a good trip!

When we were at Dunvegan in 2010, half the castle was covered in scaffolding and tarps. Good to see it uncovered!
