Found out (earlier tonight) that my new-to-me Tower 45 can focus down to 0.7 mtrs without any modification.

Most screw-mount lenses focus down to 0.9 mtrs or thereabout. The only lenses that I know of that can focus below that are the Nikkor 2.0/50mm and Nikkor 1.4/50mm lenses, and a Tanar 2.0/50mm that is on its way to me (seller stated it can go past 0.9 mtrs, possibly due to modification of some sort?).

Are there any other screw-mount lenses that can focus closer than 0.9 mtrs?

Does anyone know about the Rollei Sonnar LTM?

I figured that most unmodified CV lenses close-focus except for maybe the super fast ones.

I took a body washer and opened it up with a Dremel tool and a grinding bit. It is a perfect fit for spacing my LTM Canon 50/1.5 and M adapter ring to allow the lens to focus to the near limit of the rangefinder, a quick & dirty extension tube.

With the ring in the mix it won't reach infinity, only about 20 feet on the far end. But for doing portraits or anything else to the near limit of the M rangefinder (~0.65m), the ring increases the usefulness of this lens.
