I have a brand new 50mm screwmount summilux, boxed, guarantee etc., in chrome. What are the chances of finding a black one, or is that the proverbial hens teeth? I would be looking to swap. Ian.

Chrome is beautiful for an old lens like a lux. Enjoy it. I doubt it even exists in black. If it does, it probably is black paint. Not durable at all.

Leica item 11621 was only made in chrome - about 1000 made, and curiously, I have seen one minty one on ebay for $ 999 which seems cheap to me since minty M mount lux's are going for much more....with the screw mount, you get both mounts ( with an adapter )
