SCSI cable for Polaroid Sprintscan

There are a lot of different SCSI connector types that have emerged over time:

I don't know what model SprintScan you have, but the SprintScan 45i I know has a 50-pin Centronics port ("C50", "Low-density 50-pin" and other names) and a 25-pin DB-25 port.

Given that your Adaptec 2930 SCSI controller has a 50-pin high density ("HD50") port, you will need either a 50-pin high density to 50-pin Centronics cable (like this), or a 50-pin high density to 25-pin DB-25 cable (like this).

Remember that the SCSI bus needs to be terminated on both ends, so you may also need a terminator, either with a Centronics plug (like this) or with a DB-25 plug (like this).

I have the Sprintscan 35plus. Let me know if you have the same model.
I could take photos of the cable. No terminator needed for the 35plus.

Sorry, I have a Polaroid Sprintscan 4000.

Your scanner has both a 25-pin and 50 pin SCSI-2 connector. The Adaptec 2930 has a 50 pin connector. So if you decide to use your scanner's 50-pin port, you'll need a cable with 50-pin connectors on both ends. If you decide to use the scanner's 25-pin connector, you'll need a cable with a 25-pin connector on one end and a 50-pin connector on the other end.

You'll have to check whether you need male or female connectors.
